Nancy Lea Clark, 88, of Camillus, passed away Friday at Upstate University Hospital. A lifetime resident of the Camillus and Marcellus areas, she was a graduate of Baldwinsville Academy, received a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, and a master’s degree from Pittsburgh University. Nancy had a nursing career of over 50 years with multiple nursing roles. She worked in long-term and hospital care, and was the nurse specialist and coordinator of the Spina Bifida Clinic at Crouse Hospital. A communicant of St. Joseph’s Church, Nancy enjoyed camping, gardening, and sailing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Cora Clark; and brother, Rodney Clark.
Surviving are her sister, Joanne Tschopp; nephew, Stephen (Dana) Tschopp; nieces, Michelle (Steve) Erickson, Deborah (Eric) Strob, and Andrea (Matt) Ducharme; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, October 11, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will follow in the church.
Nancy will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
