Nancy Dodge Hagadorn

Oct 7, 1936 — Sep 27, 2026

Baldwinsville

Nancy Dodge Hagadorn, 89, of Baldwinsville, passed away and moved into her new heavenly home on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Born at home in Warners on October 7, 1936, Nancy was the daughter of Charles and Mary Miller. Shortly after graduating from Warners High School, she married Dick Dodge in 1956. Together, they built a beautiful life, filling their home with three active boys and plenty of love to go around.

Nancy enjoyed a highly fulfilling career at Chase Lincoln First Bank, retiring as a manager in 1990. She held a deep fondness for her coworkers and the many customers she served over the years. Nancy’s early days were filled with family fishing and camping trips to Snyder's Resort in Canada. Later in life, after marrying Art Hagadorn, her love for travel continued, though her "camping" evolved into enjoying balcony staterooms on Royal Caribbean cruises.

Nancy’s greatest joy, however, was her family. She adored her seven grandchildren and took her job as "Nana" very seriously, firmly believing that no amount of spoiling was ever enough. Her great-grandchildren were the absolute icing on her cake.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Chuck, Dick, and Zane Miller; and husbands, Dick Dodge and Art Hagadorn.

Those left on earth to cherish her memory and deeply miss her legendary chocolate chip cookies, include her sons, Rick (Nida) Dodge, Jeff (Shelly) Dodge, and Kurt (Donna) Dodge; sister, Joan Weisbrod; and a large, loving circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family wishes to extend its gratitude to the McHarrie Towne community and the staff at Syracuse Home for making her final years so comfortable.

To celebrate Nancy’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral service will follow at the funeral home.

Nancy will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Warners United Methodist Church, 6514 Canton St., Warners, NY 13164.
