Patricia "Patti" Kelly Gleason

Patricia Patti Kelly Gleason, 46, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Crouse Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse on Friday, December 2, 1960, she was the daughter of William Francis Gleason and Elizabeth Ann Crook Gleason. She was a lifetime resident of Camillus. Patricia was a 1979 graduate of West Genesee High School and a 1981 graduate of Alfred State College with a degree in medical records. She was a manufacturer's representative for Gleason Associates. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and Eucharistic minister at both Holy Family Church and Van Duyn Home & Hospital. Patti took pleasure in simplicity. She was uplifting to those who knew her. She will be remembered as a young woman of compassion, great strength and Irish wit. Her humor and smile touched everyone she knew. Her father, William Francis Gleason, died in 1984. Surviving are her devoted mother, Ann Gleason of Camillus; sisters and brothers-in-law, Michelle and Jeff Dodge of Camillus and Catherine and Tom Boise of Syracuse; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Claudia Gleason of Cary, North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Erica and Rachel Dodge, Bill Gleason, Kara, Patrick and Meghan Gleason, Cameron and Dylan Watts; godmother, Kathy Jacuk and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Friday, July 6, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to W.A.V.E.S., 202 Bennett Rd., Camillus, NY 13031 or to Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse, NY 13219.
