Patricia Anne (Wolfe) Ynsuela, 87, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Monday.
Patricia was a wonderful woman with many accomplishments, but none greater than the love and devotion she had for her family.
Patricia grew up in Syracuse, deeply influenced by her late grandmother, Rose Sewak, who owned the Friendly Restaurant. Her love of people took root in those early days spent with her grandmother at the restaurant.
Patricia had boundless energy for all things homemaking and volunteered regularly at her children’s schools and church. She also worked part-time at Ernie’s Restaurant, Whelan’s Pub at Split Rock, and at Luigi’s for her uncle. In her spare time, she knitted and donated more than 2,000 hats.
Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years, Manuel; mother, Catherine Wolfe; and sister in law, Joan Wolfe.
Surviving are her daughters, Roxanne (Alan), Nicole (Frank), Claudia (Joseph Cosentino), and Danielle; grandsons, Joshua and Benjamin; brother, Frank Wolfe; nephews, Christoper and Paul Wolfe; nieces, Brenda Chapman and Anita Hyland; and cherished friend, Linda Salvatore.
Services will be private.
Patricia will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
In her memory, please pass on her love of making people laugh. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
Service will be held at a future date
