Raymond Thomas Gillis Sr.

Raymond T. Gillis, Sr., 64, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Saturday at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Queens and raised on Long Island, Raymond moved to the Camillus area in 1992. He was a retired NYS court officer in Syracuse.

Raymond was predeceased by his parents; and one brother. 

Surviving are his wife of 34 years, the former Anne Maass; children, Marianna (Nick) Hinman, Raymond T. Gillis, Jr., Jessica Lynn (Ryan) Conroy, and Lauren Gillis; grandchildren, Evelyn, Colton, and Paisley Hinman and Ryan and Sophia Conroy; and four brothers.

In honor of Raymond’s wishes, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Church Food Pantry, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus, NY 13031.
