Raymond A. Pisik, 85, of Camillus, passed away on Tuesday.
A lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, Ray was a graduate of St. Vincent High School and earned his associate’s degree from Onondaga Community College. He dedicated more than 25 years of service as a meat cutter at Peter’s Grocery in Syracuse. After retiring, Ray continued to give back to his community, working as a custodian at St. Joseph’s Church.
He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Ray found joy in gardening and spending time outdoors and was a lifelong fan of Syracuse University athletics. Above all, Ray cherished spending time with his family.
Ray was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Michelle; sons, Dr. Mark (Karen) and Scott; daughter, Stephanie (David) DeMann; grandchildren, Erika, Sean, Oliver, Nora, and Jenny; sisters, Ethel and Fran; and many nieces and nephews.
To celebrate Ray’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 9 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 NY-31, Baldwinsville.
Ray will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Joseph’s Church Food Pantry, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus, NY 13031.
