Richard Faulkner

Richard “Dick” Faulkner, 82, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he grew up in Fayetteville before settling in Camillus in 1966. Dick was a graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School and attended CCBI. He was employed with the Town of Camillus for over 30 years. An avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan, Dick was a former coach for the Camillus Youth Baseball Assn., Camillus Youth Hockey Assn., and West Genesee Pop Warner Football. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Dick is predeceased by his parents, Stuart and Grace Faulkner.

Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Dori; sons, Tim (Melissa) of Camillus, Chris (Corinna) of Colchester, CT, Scott (Cheryl) of Apalachin, and Sean (Kim) of Mendham, NJ; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and brother, David (Jan) of Omaha, NE.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, August 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
