Camillus

Robert C. Easton, 99, passed away Friday at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Buffalo, he lived in Camillus since 1962. Bob was a Navy veteran of WW II. He retired from Western Electric Co. after 35 years. Bob was a member of Christ Community Church of the Nazarene and volunteered with Upstate University Hospital and Community General Hospital. He enjoyed bowling, golf and wintering in Hilton Head, SC.

Bob was predeceased by his wife, the former Grace Gilbert; son, Douglas; brothers, Vern and Willis; and sisters, Margaret Wildhagen and Murm D’Agostino.

Bob is survived by daughters, Linda (Carol) Easton of Arizona, Barbara (Angelo) Woodhouse of Midlothian, VA, and Kathi (David) Schultz of Arizona; sons, George of Syracuse and Kevin of Tampa, FL; sister, Marilyn Betschen of Elmira; daughter-in-law, Sarah Easton of Burke, VA; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In celebration of Bob’s life, relatives and friends may call, Monday, January 19, 2026, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral service will follow at the funeral home.

Robert will be laid to rest in Acacia Park Cemetery, North Tonawanda.
