Ronald A. Kelly, 85, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday, at Upstate Community Hospital.

Born in Geneva, Ronald was a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area. He was a graduate of Vocational High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

A hardworking and entrepreneurial man, Ronald was self-employed as an antique dealer for more than 40 years, turning his passion for unique treasures and collectibles into a successful career. Prior to that, he operated his own private investigation business and, in his early years, worked as a milkman for Byrne Dairy.

Ronald was a longtime member of the Syracuse Corvette Club and was a true Corvette enthusiast. He took great pride in his cars and enjoyed the friendships he made with the club over the years. He also cherished his time spent in Florida, where he could soak up the sunshine he loved so much.

Dedicated to maintaining an active lifestyle, Ronald enjoyed working out, exercising and believed in staying healthy. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, whether sharing stories, laughter, or simply enjoying each other's company, those moments brought him his greatest happiness.

Ronald was predeceased by his sister, Doris Wilkinson.

Surviving are his companion, Gretchen Arnold of Syracuse; children, Susan Isgar-Kelly of Syracuse, Richard (Margaret) of Sarasota, FL, Joseph of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Diana (Eugene Zachman) Kelly of Naples, FL, and Jennifer Kelly-Flowers of Syracuse.

Services will be held at a later date.

Ronald will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Syracuse.
