Ronald “Butch” Wisnoski, 71, of Camillus, passed away Thursday at home, surrounded by his loving family. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse/ Camillus area, he was employed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. for 37 years, retiring in 1995. Butch attended St. Patrick's High School and was an Army veteran. He was also a member of Camillus Elks Lodge and Niagara Mohawk 25-Year Club. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, an avid fisherman, golfer and sports fan. Butch enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, the former Carol Niedzwiecki; daughters, Doreen (Paul) McDonough of Marcellus and Marcia (Jason) Young of West Chester, PA; son, John (Lisa) Wisnoski of Mechanicville; grandchildren, John Paul and Sarah McDonough, Justin and Nicole Wisnoski, and Katelyn Young; brother-in-law, J. Peter Fennell of Elmira; and several nieces, nephews and many dear cousins. Butch was predeceased by his infant son, Steven Wisnoski; and sister, Susan Fennell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at (time) Monday in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be private.
