Camillus

Sally A. (Punch) Kilburg, 91, of Camillus, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday.

A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, Sally graduated from Central High School in 1952. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church and was actively involved in her community as a member of the Camillus Republican Club and the Camillus Women’s Republican Club.

Sally had a passion for home decorating and design and took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home for family and friends. She was an avid SU sports fan. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, cherishing everyday moments they shared.

The family of Sally extends a heartfelt thank you to all of her caregivers, for their compassionate and loving care.

Sally was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 2006; parents, Edward and Mary Punch; sisters, Mary Jane Barnhill and Suzanne Flaherty; brother, Robert Punch; and son-in-law, Barry McArdle.

Surviving are her daughter, Janet McArdle of Syracuse; son, Richard (Sandra Cittadino) of Syracuse; grandchildren, Andrew "AJ" (Brianna), Kerri, Allison (Andrew), and Laura (Joseph); five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

To celebrate Sally’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral Mass will follow in the church.

Sally will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the 2026 Upstate Cancer Center Annual Fund, 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210.
