Sally (Garn) Miller, 78, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Monday at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
A lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, Sally lived a life rooted in family, faith, and community. She was a graduate of Vocational High School and brought her kindness, patience, and dedication to her longtime role as a customer service representative at The Post-Standard newspaper. Her warm personality and commitment to helping others made her a valued colleague and a friendly voice to countless subscribers over the years.
Sally was a devoted communicant of St. Lucy’s Church, where she found joy in her faith and fellowship as a member of the church choir. Her voice and gentle spirit uplifted all who knew her.
Sally’s greatest joy came from time spent with her family — especially her beloved grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness. Her warmth, laughter, and gentle strength will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Sally was predeceased by her husband, Henry; parents, Francis and Mary Garn; five sisters; and one brother.
Surviving are her daughter, Kim (David) Widrick of Marietta; son, John Miller of Liverpool; grandchildren, Noah and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Noazayah, Hailie, Chase, Jayden, and Presley; and several nieces and nephews.
To celebrate Sally’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Sally will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Lucy’s Food Pantry, 432 Gifford St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
