Sally Anne LaMontagne, 91, of Warners, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday. A lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, Sally lived a life marked by dedication to her family and faith.
Sally attended Vocational High School in Syracuse and was a devoted communicant of St. Augustine’s Church. She built a successful career as a sales representative, spending over 15 years with companies such as Reliance and Cadbury.
More than anything, Sally cherished her family. She was a loving mother and found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren. Her warm presence, homemade meals, and love of gardening made her home a place of comfort and care for all who knew her.
Sally will be remembered for her generous spirit, her strong work ethic, and the love she poured into every aspect of her life—from her career to her kitchen and garden.
Sally was predeceased by her husband, Francis; parents, William and Alma Kornbluth; and siblings, Pauline (Robert) Hard, William (Dolores) Kornbluth, Jack Kornbluth, and Robert Kornbluth.
Surviving are her children, Leslie (Richard) Camaione of Camillus, Reis (Laura) LaMontagne of Central Square, and Kelly LaMontagne of Liverpool; grandchildren, Aria (Christopher) Camaione-Lind, Lauren (Michael Innes) Camaione, Christopher LaMontagne, Reis (Meghan Moore) LaMontagne Jr., Megan (Paul) Oliver, Bernie (Alexandra) Cannon, and Lindsey (Jayson) Sauve; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine Jean Sampson and Sharon Richards; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
To celebrate Sally’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee Street, Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville.
Sally will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
