Sally Machin Tank, 69, of Jamesville and formerly of Onondaga Hill, passed away Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. A lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, she graduated from West Genesee High School in 1973 and earned her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Fredonia. Sally dedicated 32 years of service to the Central New York Developmental Services Office. A former communicant of Holy Family Church, she found joy in traveling during her retirement. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Sally was predeceased by her husband, Roy; and parents, Edmund and Roslyn Machin.
Surviving are her brothers, James (Hoa) Machin of Kona, HI, and Stephen (Margaret) Machin of Camillus; nieces, Sarah Boulton of Syracuse and Mackenzie Machin of Camillus; and nephew, Timothy Machin of Cleveland, OH.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home.
Sally will be laid to rest in St. Agnes Cemetery, Syracuse.
