Sharon M. Perry, 75, of Camillus, departed this world peacefully Wednesday at Francis House with family and friends by her side. A graduate of Onondaga Central High School, she worked for three successive NY Supreme Court justices as a confidential secretary and was previously employed with the former Hiscock, Cowie, Bruce, Lee & Mawhinney as a legal secretary. Sharon served as a co-president of the Friends of Maxwell Memorial Library in Camillus for several years. She enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting events, as well as Syracuse University games. Sharon cherished the company of her dearest friends, often with a bottle of red wine or a Manhattan, and loved animals, especially her Sammy, who was her consistent loyal companion for 13 years.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents, George and Geraldine Pople.
Surviving are her loving husband of 37 years, Tim; children, Michael (Maggie) Leahy, Christopher (Karen) Perry, Kelley (Michael) Leahy-Nesci, and Megan (Brian) Samborski; 11 grandchildren; sister, Ginny Don; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, September 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 27 at 10 a.m. in the Apple Valley United Methodist Church, 4389 S. Onondaga Rd., Nedrow.
Sharon will be laid to rest in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Navarino.
