Virginia (Denas) Christo

Virginia (Denas) Christo, 94, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, she was the daughter of Stavros and Zepherina Denas. A graduate of Central High School, Virginia was employed with the NY Telephone Co. She was a member of St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church.

Virginia was predeceased by her brothers, Constantine and George Denas.

Surviving are her husband of 71 years, Nicholas; sons, Don (Vicky) of Camillus and Steven of Arizona; grandson, Nicholas A. Christo; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Monday, April 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will be private. Virginia will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse.
