William Smith

William Smith, 68, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Rome Memorial Hospital. Born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland on Monday, June 28, 1943, he was the son of George Smith and Margaret Rattray Smith. He came to the United States in 1998. William was employed with Hutchings Psychiatric Center in Syracuse. Surviving are his wife of 14 years, Elise VanDam Smith of Liverpool; sons and daughter-in-law, David and Linda Young of Valrico, Florida and Doug Young of Liverpool; sister, Dorothy of Scotland; and two grandchildren. There will be no services. Burial will be in Scotland. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus.
