Yuliya Konfederat, 92, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at home. Born and raised in the Ukraine, she later immigrated to the United States in 1994. A member of the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church, Yuliya enjoyed gardening but above all, loved spending time with her family and friends.
Yuliya was predeceased by her four sisters.
Surviving are her husband, Peter; sons, Zenon (Lilya) of Cleveland, OH, and Yuri (Lyubov) of Camillus; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to honor Yuliya’s life will be held Thursday, October 19 at 7 p.m. at First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church, 3875 Warners Rd., Syracuse. Second service will be held Friday, October 20 at 10 a.m. at the church.
Yuliya will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
